ADHD shared care - Practice Policy

The practice will consider requests for shared-care prescribing of ADHD medication on an individual patient basis and in accordance with the relevant local ICB Shared Care Protocol, NICE NG87 and the practice’s prescribing governance arrangements.

Private ADHD providers:

Where the diagnosis and/or treatment has been undertaken privately, the practice is not automatically required to accept shared-care prescribing. The practice will consider the request against the above criteria and the applicable local Surrey and Sussex shared-care protocol.
